Crosshair

I will make a crosshair in the middle of the camera view to aid the Player in what they are going to be selecting if the player chooses to interact with any objects in the scene. The crosshair will be a simple dot crosshair in the colour white as it doesn't need to be anything fancy.

In order to make a crosshair I need a canvas, the canvas is like an overlay to the camera. Anything that is within the Canvas will be displayed in-game.

I inserted a square into the canvas and the square automatically centers to the middle of the canvas/camera. You can see how the square sits in-game on the right side of the screenshot. The square is rather big so I am going to resize it until it looks like a normal crosshair that isn't too disruptive to the gameplay or the Players view.

The dot crosshair has now been resized to a substantial size where it isn't too big or small. The crosshair doesn't directly select any of the items in the scene, it is just a guidance to show the Player where pointing the crosshair will help the Player pick up and interact with certain items.

The crosshair is now complete, it was a short and simple extra addition to the game to enhance the Player's experience. Not necessary but a rather nice addition. My only issue with it is when objects are picked up it doesn't look very natural and it all looks out of place in my personal opinion, but it's not the biggest issue.
